Yarra strives to ensure our school is a safe, fun, friendly and supportive learning environment, such that the teachers, fellow students, and by extension, parents, become part of our close-knit learning community.

Yarra understands that these early formative years are crucial in character development, so we focus on instilling, modeling and reinforcing good character traits and good behaviour. This includes exhibiting empathy, showing appreciation and gratitude, being eager to support others, being polite and being respectful.

Balanced international education

At Yarra International Kindergarten we offer high quality early learning in a customized program extending upon the Australian framework. The Yarra philosophy embraces balance in education to allow children to thrive academically, emotionally, socially and physically.​

The Yarra Learning Program

The Yarra learning program is committed to fun, engaging and effective active learning approaches, largely inspired by Reggio Emilia and HighScope, and using Montessori and Glenn Doman materials. We aim to stay at the forefront of early learning.

The Yarra Curriculum

Yarra offers a structured, purposeful curriculum via a dynamic, play-based active learning approach. We welcome parents to visit our kindergarten to inspect our comprehensive curriculum
