The year is 2056. A group of grown-up Yarra graduates arrive at their school reunion expecting memories, old friends, and maybe a few tiny chairs. But when the Inventor reveals the Chronoshoes — time-travel dance shoes powered by joy, memories, and 88 steps per minute — one trip back to kindergarten time changes everything. Soon they discover that the past is not just something to remember: it is something still living inside them. Yarra kids proudly present part 1 with "The Chronoshoes".

High quality care, education and facilities
Yarra offers immersive English-language schooling for children 18 months to 8 years. We offer high quality early learning in a customized program extending upon the Australian framework. The Yarra philosophy embraces balance in education to allow children to thrive academically, emotionally, socially and physically at this crucial age of character development.
At Yarra we prioritise education, not profits, so we have small class sizes for a very low student:teacher ratio, under 5. This allows Yarra kids to receive more attention, personalised learning, and more active involvement with teachers and classroom activities.

Our customized program extends upon the Australian framework to cover a broad curriculum to develop children's multiple intelligences. The Yarra philosophy embraces balance in education to allow children to thrive academically, emotionally, socially and physically.
The Yarra Learning Program
The Yarra learning program is committed to fun, engaging and effective active learning approaches, largely inspired by Reggio Emilia and HighScope, and using Montessori and Glenn Doman materials. We aim to stay at the forefront of early learning to make learning not just effective, but always fun and engaging.
The Yarra Curriculum
Yarra offers a structured, purposeful curriculum via a dynamic, play-based active learning approach. We welcome parents to visit our kindergarten to inspect our comprehensive curriculum.
Small classes, limited capacity
We limit capacity of the kindergarten so classes remain small, with student:teacher ratios under 5:1, so your child has more attention, guidance and care.
Native English speakers
Yarra emphasises English throughout its curriculum, allowing children to be immersed in English. We have native English teachers and most of our Vietnamese teachers are required to speak English.
Owner operated
Yarra is owned and managed by the same people: internationally qualified educators. So we ensure the high Yarra standards of learning and care are always present.

Made for learning
Each classroom has colourful -- yet natural -- themes with large windows offering natural light and a view of outside weather, plants on balconies and trees on the street. Calming natural tones and natural stimulation.
Exercise for learning
Yarra understands the importance of exercise for optimal learning, so Yarra has several options for indoor, outdoor and undercover activity spaces -- rain, hail or shine. We also consciously arrange the schedule to let exercise invigorate children's minds to be more receptive to learning.

Conditioned for learning
The indoor learning environment is conditioned for optimal comfort and learning: not too hot, not too humid. All classrooms have air purification, air-con and ceiling fans.
Natural grass playground
We use natural grass for our playground, which includes swings, a sand pit, a trampoline, natural bamboo playground equipment, and outdoor xylophones.
Health & Safety
Yarra really cares about health and safety, so we've included safety features rarely seen in other kindergartens, such as touchless taps, ventilation, building-wide air purification, an industrial dishwasher, and gaps in doors to prevent finger jams. We exceed local PCCC fire standards.
